Annie Laurie Cook Saylor, 78, of Swansea, SC, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 17, 2017, at Oak Grove Methodist Church with Rev. Bruce Rucker and Rev. Deborah Copley officiating.Burial will be in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM before the service. Mrs. Saylor was born in Orangeburg, SC, the daughter of the late Joe and Lucille Williamson Cook.She was a member of Oak Grove Methodist Church and a member of Sandy Run Community Center.She was employed as a substitute teacher for Lexington School District 4 and Carolina Coliseum for over 30 years. Survivors include a son, Derwin (Teresa) Saylor, a daughter, Christi (Jimmie) Whitaker; granddaughters, Miranda (Matt) Stoner, Paige Saylor, Tori Saylor and Brooke (Brent) Shumpert; great-granddaughters, Olivia Stoner, Avery Stoner Oakley Shumpert and one brother, Wilbur (Melba) Cook.She was predeceased by her husband, Spencer Saylor and a daughter, Tami Saylor.
