Barbara Marie Chavis Rutland

Barbara Marie Chavis Rutland, 61, of Cope, S. C. passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024. Graveside services will be held at 11:15 AM, Friday, July 19, 2024, at Riverside Cemetery, 560 Jones Bridge Road, North, S. C. 29112 with Rev. Shirley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home, 4541 Savannah Highway, North, S. C. 29112. Ms. Rutland was born in North, S. C., a daughter of the late Emmett “Bo” Chavis and the late Joyce Rice Chavis. She was a member of Columbia Road Church of God, was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her husband, Raymond M. Rutland; two daughters, Andrea Rutland and Hannah Rutland; grandchildren, Abby Rae Smith, Lana Martin and Shania Rutland; and a sister, Cathy Fulmer (Kenneth) McGuire.
