Betty Locklair Barwick, 77, of Gaston, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Gaston First Baptist Church.Burial will be in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 P.M. at the church before the service. Mrs. Barwick was born in Kingstree, SC, a daughter of the late John Wesley and Janie Baker Locklair, Sr.She was married to the late Douglas Barwick. Survivors include daughters, Ruth Barwick and Elaine Barwick; sons, Jerry Barwick and James Barwick; and one grandson, Bryan Barwick.She was predeceased by a daughter, Rebecca Barwick. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston First Baptist Church.
