Bryan Eric Corley

Bryan Eric Corley, 55, of Swansea, S. C. passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Monday, August 10, 2026, at Bethel United Methodist Church, 811 Peachtree Rock Rd., Lexington, S. C. 29073 with Rev. Jonathan Matthews officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall at the conclusion of the service.

Bryan was born in Columbia, SC to Bobby Corley and Mary Hutto Corley. He graduated from Swansea High School as well as the University of South Carolina with a degree in Criminal Justice. After 25 years of service, Bryan retired from the Richland County Sheriff's Department. His storytelling prowess and attention to detail were only surpassed by his loyalty to his friends and family and his lovingness as a son, father, brother and husband. 

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Jackson Corley; children, Emily Elizabeth Corley and Erin Grace Corley; a brother, Jeffrey Allen (Kara) Corley; a niece, Hannah Corley and nephews, Eli and Jonah Corley; mother-in-law, Janice Wilson Jackson; aunts, Patricia Collins, Elsie Palmer and Lois Squires; and an uncle, Billy (Marie) Corley. He was predeceased by aunt and uncles, Bill Hutto, Calliston Hutto, Geneva Butcher and Melrose Gable.
