Burle Lee Jumper, Sr.

Burle Lee Jumper, Sr., of Swansea, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026.

A private family graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Terry Wilder officiating.

Mr. Jumper was born in Swansea, a son of the late Burle Vernon and Elizabeth Keller Jumper. He was a member of Swansea First Baptist Church and was a volunteer fireman in Swansea.

Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Wanda Jumper; a son, Matthew (Della) Campbell; sisters, Beckie (Mike) McKoy and Frann (Tim) Massey; and a brother, Robert (Nellie) Romanstine. He was predeceased by his son, Burle Lee Jumper, Jr.; and a brother, Vernon Jumper.
