Calvin H. Miller

Calvin H. Miller, 88, of Swansea, passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

Mr. Miller was born October 11, 1937 in Jenkin Jones, West Virginia.

He was a veteran of the United States Army. While serving his country he received a Parachutist Badge with 29 completed jumps. Calvin was a truck driver for many years and would share the different routes he took throughout the country.

Calvin enjoyed horses and barrel racing. He was a member of the National Barrel Horse Association and was in competition for many years. He received countless awards and belt buckles through the years. Calvin loved the sport and was able to critique riders and share his opinion to help improve riding skills.

He was predeceased by his wife, Nancy Lea Miller; his parents, Cara Oscar Miller and Pearlie Pauline Nickerson; his first wife, Dianne; his brother, Cara V. Miller. He also had a brother Clifford V. Miller. He is survived by a nephew, Vernon (Red) Miller.

A memorial service presided over by Pastor Jimmy Jones will be held at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home, 4541 Savannah Highway, North, SC.
