Carolyn Ruth Walling

Carolyn Ruth Walling, 85, of Neeses, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Monday June 9, 2025 at North Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Sunday, June 8, 2025 at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North.

Mrs. Walling was born in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late Granville Lee and Evelyn Ruth Williams Walling. She was a member of North Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she was the choir leader. Singing was her livelihood, she loved the Lord and her church. She was also a member of The Walling Sisters singing group. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Carolyn enjoyed cooking, working in her yard and gardening.

Survivors include her daughters, Donnette Anderson and Regina Williams (Michael Green); grandchildren, Jordan Kittrell (Casey Richardson), Grace (Evan) James, Jonathan Anderson, Carlie (Greg) Lihan, Nicholas Williams, Connelly Williams, Mallory Williams and Madelynn Green; great-grandchildren, Everleigh Richardson, Revyn Lihan, Camden Lihan, Henry Lihan, Tucker Williams and Tanner Williams; sisters, Peggy (Robert) Laird, Sylvia (Larry) Weathers and Lynda (Colonel Jackie) Fogle; a special friend, Cathy Fulmer McGuire and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husbands, Donald Williams, Robert "Bobby" Fogle and William "Bill" Harley; her beloved son, Donald Wade Williams, Jr.; and a brother Seaby Walling.
