Carroll Blease Williams

Carroll Blease Williams, 72, of Pelion, South Carolina passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 23, 2019 at Pelion Baptist Church, 841 Main Street, Pelion.Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery in Pelion. The casket will be placed in the church at 10:00 AM. Mr. Williams was born in Orangeburg County, a son of the late Colie B. and Louella Gantt Williams. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Pelion Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Gwendolyn Hutto Williams of the home; daughters, Wendy (Woody) Threlkeld of West Columbia, Wanda Poole of Pelion, Wynette (Eddie) Jeffcoat of Pelion, Wrenn (Kyle) Lucas of Pelion; a son, Chad (Amanda) Williams of Pelion; 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; a brother, Larry (Betty) Williams and a special cousin, Joyce (Bill) Addison.He was predeceased by a sister, Peggy Hartley. The family will receive friends at Culler McAlhany Funeral Home (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 22, 2019 and other times at their home.
