Dorothy "Dot" Strickland Jeffcoat, 95, of North, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025.
Dot was born June 18, 1930, a daughter of the late Eluide and Eva Hair Strickland.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was employed in management by Ambler Industries for 40 years.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Browder, Beverly (Lynn) Ryan and Vickie (Al) Fine; grandsons, Shane (Kelly) Browder, Eric Browder, Aaron (Shana) Ryan, Ashley (Kelly) Ryan and Austin (Sabina) Ryan; granddaughters, Stephanie (Tim) Derrick, Michelle (Shawn) Kordes, Amber Ryan Smith and Tiffany (Brad) McDougal; great grandchildren, Hannah Browder, Lawton Browder, Cameron Browder, Strickland Browder, Bree Kordes, Riley Kordes, Allie Ryan, Emery Ryan, Ellen Ryan, Lily Ryan, Maddie Ryan, Finn Smith, Savannah Ryan, Peyton McDougal and Parker McDougal; sisters-in-law, Barbara Strickland and Olivia Strickland; a special nephew, Eddie Strickland and dear friend Vicki Weeks Walker; an abundance of supportive family, extended family and friends; and all the special ones that she provided a home for over the years that brought her much happiness. Dot was predeceased by brothers, Roy Strickland, W.C. Strickland, Leo Strickland, Jimmy Strickland and Wilbur Redmond; and a grandson, Christopher Creech.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 9, 2025 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2740 Broughton Street, Orangeburg, SC. The casket will be placed in the church one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday. Burial will follow in the Amaker-Jeffcoat-Harley Family Cemetery near North. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Friday at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North.
