Elizabeth Annette Laird Hendrix, 79, of West Columbia, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Riverside Cemetery 560 Jones Bridge Road, North, SC 29112 with Rev Robert Templeton officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until the time of service.
Mrs. Hendrix was born on August 23, 1946 in Orangeburg County, SC, a daughter of the late Joseph Sylvester Laird and the late Geraldine Elizabeth Bailey Laird Bishop. She was a great mother and was retired as an engineer with Bell South.
Survivors include her daughter, Angel (Calvin) Kittrell; son, Shaddix Hendrix; brother, Billy Ray Laird. She was predeceased by her son, Chad Lee; a brother, Joseph Eugene Laird.
Culler McAlhany Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
