James David Jeffcoat, 75, of Neeses, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Clinton United Methodist Church in Salley with Rev. Butch Blackwell officiating.Burial will be in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00-3:00 before the service on Tuesday. Mr. Jeffcoat was born in Aiken County, a son of the late James H. and Mary Ellen Cooper Jeffcoat.He served four years in the United States Air Force and retired from Southeastern Freight Lines after thirty-one years.He was a member of Clinton United Methodist Church. Survivors his wife of the home, Judy C. Jeffcoat; a son, Bruce Jeffcoat; daughters, Tina Jeffcoat (Bud) Poole and Meridith Jeffcoat; grandchildren, Haley Rucker, Katelyn Poole, Ben Poole and Hannah Poole; great-granddaughter, Maci Lee; a sister, Mary Ann (O’Neal) Strock; brothers, Billy Ray (Connie) Jeffcoat, Wayne H. (Mary) Jeffcoat, Steve C. (Barbara) Jeffcoat and John M. (Lou Ellen) Jeffcoat; and a number of nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by a brother, Ronnie O’Neal Jeffcoat.
