Janice Hoffman Hoover

Janice Hoffman Hoover, 88, of North, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Don Studabaker officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at Trinity United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Hoover was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was a school bus driver for North High School and Swansea High School for 17 years. She was a very loving woman who welcomed anyone into her home at any time.

Survivors include her son, Olin Zeke Hoover; daughters, Sandra H. Padgett, Pam (Jon) Rich and Tracy Fairrington (Clyde Lee, Jr.) Weaver; grandchildren, Tina (Tracy) Smith, Donnie (Candi) Padgett, Justin (Kristin) Williams and James (Brittany) Fairrington; great grandchildren, Dakota Padgett, Channing Padgett, Cory Smith, T.J. Smith, Avaleigh "Ava" Fairrington, Every Fairrington, Grayson Fairrington, Hudson Fairrington, Ella Fairrington and Kevin Morris; a great-great grandchild, Ellory Smith; niece, Melodie (Thomas) Sharpe; five great nephews; three great-great nieces and one great-great nephew. She was predeceased by her parents, Willie Wilkes "Bill" Hoffman, Sr. and Annie Mae Axson Hoffman; partner, Robert George Jackson; brother, Billy "W.W." Hoffman, Jr.; infant sister in 1938 and infant sister in 1939; sister-in-law, Eva Faye Joye Hoffman; and nephew, Chris Hoffman.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Trinity United Methodist Church.
