Joyce W. "Jim" Vallentine

Joyce W. “Jim” Vallentine, 83, of North passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Clay Faulk officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.

Mrs. Vallentine was born in Orangeburg, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Ruth Whisenhunt.  She lived a civic and family centered life, played an active role in her husband’s business and was an avid golfer.  She was a member of North United Methodist Church.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jacob H. Vallentine, Jr.  Survivors include two sons; Jacob H. Vallentine, III and his wife, April of North and Jonathan L. Vallentine of North and a granddaughter, Annie Ruth Vallentine of North.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North, S. C.
