Karen Jean Kimball Pound, 61, of Gaston, SC, died Wednesday, December 14, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, December 16, 2016 at Gaston First Baptist Church with Rev. Laneir Singleton officiating. Mrs. Pound was born in Louisville, KY a daughter of the late Lyman Chandler and Lorra Dell Boggs Kimball.She was a member of Gaston First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Jimmie L. Pound, Sr.; daughter, Heather Hart; two grandchildren, Caleb and Tanner Hart; sister, Mary Beth Bullock; step-children, Suzanne Gregory, Sharon Brant and Jimmie Pound, Jr. and a host of other family members. The family will receive friends from times 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM, one hour before the funeral, at the church and other times at 1653 Busbee Road, Gaston, SC.Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) of North is assisting the family.
