Kenneth Alan Willis, Sr.

Kenneth Alan Willis, Sr., 78, of Swansea passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 1:00-3:00 P.M. at the Sandy Run Community Center, 1792 Old State Road, Gaston, SC 29053.

Mr. Willis was born in Quitman, Georgia, a son of the late William Arthur Willis, Jr. and the late Sara Zelda Allen Willis.  Mr. Willis was a volunteer fire fighter with Sandy Run Fire Department in Calhoun County where he was the Chief.  His passion was being at Dreher Island on Lake Murray.  He was a district manager at Burger King and later retired from South Carolina Department of Insurance.

Survivors include his wife, Marilee Willis; sons, Ken (Sheila) Willis, Jr. and William Henry Willis; daughter, Bonnie Michelle (Brandon) Arvay; sisters, Mary Elizabeth Spence and Sara Raye Shearer and five grandchildren.
