Leroy "L.A." Archibald Crim

Leroy “L.A.” Archibald Crim, Jr., 87, of Swansea, S. C. passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home, North, S. C.  The family will receive friends from 11:00AM – 12:00 PM, one hour prior to the funeral, at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Pen Branch Cemetery, 325 Pen Branch Road, North, S. C. 29112.

Mr. Crim was born in Woodford, S. C., a son of the late Leroy Archibald Crim, Sr. and the late Maggie Lou Fogle Crim.  He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather.  He loved music, taught himself to play the guitar and sang in the choir at St. John United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Idella Young Crim; a daughter, Teresa (Steve) Gartman; a son, Ronnie (Ellen) Crim; three grandchildren, Brittany (Rhett) Smith, Cheyenne (Dennis) Knight and Jacob Crim; four great grandchildren, David, William and Abigail Knight and Lucas Smith; two sisters, Mary Edith Crim and Betty Jean Crim, two brothers, Samuel Crim and George Crim and a number of nieces and nephews.  Mr. Crim was predeceased by a brother, Derrel Crim.
