Swansea

Marilee Wiesen Willis, wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on October 10, 2026, at the age of 78 (or 29, as she swore to the end).

Marilee was a woman who always put others before herself. Her family was the center of her world, and she found happiness in caring for the people she loved. Whether it was bringing everyone together for a holiday, or simply spending time with her children and grandchildren, those moments meant everything to her.

She cherished her husband, Ken, who preceded her in death. Their life together was an important part of her story, and she continued to hold that love close to her heart.

Marilee appreciated the simple pleasures that made life special. She loved getting lost in a good book, creating beautiful things with her hands, tending to her garden, and going on road trips and getting lost or as she called it, "exploring". She also loved warm summer days, time spent at the beach, and the companionship of animals, especially dogs. Snakes, not so much.

Above all, Marilee was devoted to her family. She was a loving mother and proud grandmother. Each of her children and grandchildren held a special place in her heart. Her family was her greatest treasure, and being together was one of life's greatest joys for her.

Marilee was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ken, and her parents, Henry and Anne Weisen. She is survived by her children, Ken Willis Jr. (Sheila), Bonnie Arvay (Brandon), and William Willis; her grandchildren, Katelyn, Tyler, Lauren, Corbin, and Harper; and her sister, Sheli Williams (Joe).

She will be forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
