Marion Franklin Hill

Marion Franklin Hill, 83, of Sandy Run, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026.

Mr. Hill was born in Sandy Run, SC, a son of the late J. Roy Hill and Thelma Hoffman Hill. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and was a member of numerous hunting clubs. He was a former member of Oak Grove Methodist Church and Sardis Baptist Church where he was baptized.

Survivors include his loving wife, Yolanda C. Hill; a son Ronald (Crystal) Hill; daughters, Natonya "Tonya" (Lynn) Harsey and Shantayn "Shan" (Todd) Mack; a step-daughter, Marcy (Eric) Jenkins; grandchildren, Wesley Hill, Ronald Hill, Matthew Hill, Loren Harsey, Blair Hill, Tyler Brentlinger, Jaden Myers, Tylee Pender, Tyce Pender and Sara Brentlinger; many great-grandchildren; a special sister-in-law, Janet Hill; a special nephew, Jeffrey Hill who helped the family tremendously; a special God daughter, Dulce Castillo Rico and a special friend Jamie Hook. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Jimmy Hill and Leonard Hill; and a stepson, Wade Brentlinger.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Interim Hospice staff for their support and care during these last few months.

A memorial service will be announced at a later time.

The family will receive visitors at the home of Mrs. Yolanda Hill.
