Mary L. Simmons

Mary L. Simmons entered peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday October 1st. She was 84 years and surrounded by her family in Swansea.

Mary was a devoted wife and mother who was an example in sharing the love of Christ in words and through serving others.
Mary's life was a testament by God's Grace in Christ to the words of John13:34, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another."

Mary is survived by her three sons Stephen (Robin), Jason (Ila), Shaun, her granddaughter Danielle (Cory) and four great grandchildren. She is now in Christ's Glory, reunited with those in Christ who have gone before her.

A memorial service to celebrate Mary's life will be held at Antioch Baptist Church in Gaston, SC on Tuesday, October 7th at 11:00am.
