Mickey Chavis

Mickey Chavis, 62, of North, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024. Graveside services will be held at 11:00, A.M., Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Riverside Cemetery in North with Rev. Roger Smoak officiating. Mr. Chavis was born in Newberry, SC, a son of the late Emmett Chavis and Joyce Rice Chavis. Survivors include his sisters, Cathy Fulmer-McGuire (Kenneth) and Barbara Rutland; and also his caregivers, Robert and Peggy Laird. He was predeceased by his brothers, David Chavis and Ricky Chavis; and a sister, Peggy Graham. Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) is in charge of arrangements.
