Patty Williams Chavis, 59, of South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. She was born on October 11, 1966, in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, March 22, 2026 at Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church in Neeses. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M., on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Culler McAlhany Funeral Home in North.
Patty was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was married to her loving husband, Victor Lynn Chavis, and together they built a life centered on faith, family, and compassion. She was the proud mother of two sons, Patrick Stephen Chavis and Dominic Victor (Alicia) Chavis, who were the joy of her life.
She was the beloved daughter of Henderson Williams and Elizabeth Williams, and a caring sister to Greg (Brandy) Williams and Fran Williams (Matthew "Rick") Winn.
Patty was a proud and loving grandmother to Tanslie Chavis, Cameron Chavis, Harlee Chavis, and Macie Chavis. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and took great pride in being a part of their lives. She was also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
For over 30 years, Patty served as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), dedicating her life to caring for others with kindness, patience, and compassion. Her work made a lasting impact on countless patients and families.
A woman of strong faith, Patty was a devoted Christian and faithful member of Mount Beulah Pentecostal Church for more than 20 years. Her church family meant so much to her, and she lived her life as a reflection of her beliefs.
In her free time, Patty enjoyed cleaning, working on DIY projects around her home, and spending quality time with her family. She also loved taking the occasional road trip, always finding joy in the journey as much as the destination.
Patty will be remembered for her loving heart, strong faith, and unwavering dedication to her family. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and love that will never be forgotten.
Memorials may be made to Mount Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church.
