Rita Ann Revenig Jefferson, 70, of North, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date at Liberty Free Will Baptist Church.

Mrs. Jefferson was born in Colorado Springs (Fort Carson) Colorado, a daughter of the late Ronald Clement Revenig and the late Dorothy Vera Revenig. She was a member of Liberty Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Jefferson was employed by Lexington Medical Center as a Medical Tech on the Oncology floor and retired from a lifetime of private home caregiving since she was 19 years old. She was a dedicated member of her church where she loved and taught the children Sunday School. She was an active and dedicated member of her community, serving as a member of the Woodford Town Council for many years before her illness.

Mrs. Jefferson is predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Timmy Jefferson; a sister, Rhonda Arlene (John) Bagar of Bluefield, W. V.; a nephew Leonard "Junior" Wagoner and a special grandchild, Timothy Hall.

Mrs. Jefferson is survived by members of the home, David and Amanda Jefferson; Kaitlynn Jefferson, Hayleigh Jefferson and Taylor Jefferson; two brothers, Roger Allen Revenig of Lexington, S. C. and Ralph Arnee (Cathy) Revenig of Pemberton, N. J.; nephews, Jessie Revenig, Michael Revenig, Melvin Richards, Kevin (Mary Ann) Broome, Joey Jefferson, Johnny Jefferson and Cody Moody; in-laws, Lawrence (Frances) Jefferson and Jalina McBride; nieces, Brandy Bagar (Jason) Frayley, Katrina Michael; great nephews, Joey Richards and David Richards; great nieces, Callie and Caitlyn Michael and Persephone Revenig; nephew, Nick Hall and niece, Tara Hall and special grandchildren, Charles Hall, Seth Hall and Adam (Rachel) Reed and her "fur" babies, Penny, Pup Pup, Boo Boo, Princess and Jo Jo. She will be greatly missed by the people of her church, community and friends close to her heart, Linda Moss, Willie Pontoon, Randy (Rose) Wilson, Mike (Tami) Mullinex, Frank Ayers and family and many, many more.
