Sarah Ann Pichey

Sarah Ann Pichey, 78, of Gaston, S. C., passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Pichey was born on October 30, 1946, in Richland County, SC, a daughter of the late Nathan Murphy and the late Pearl Tager Murphy.

Survivors include her two sons, David Wayne (Louise) Snelgrove and Benjamin Snelgrove; seven grandchildren, Danyelle (Tony) Raisor, Brittany (Lonnie) Phelps, Daniel Snelgrove, Destiny (Joshua) Canfield, Ashley (Angel) Hernandez, Joshua (Brittany) Snelgrove and Victoria Snelgrove; nine great grandchildren; one brother, John (Pat) Murphy; and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Pichey was predeceased by one son, Randy Snelgrove; one sister, Gracie Murphy; six brothers, Harvey Murphy, Buck Murphy, Raymond Murphy, Harmon Lee Murphy, James Horace Murphy and George Murphy.
