Travis Livingston Bennett, 54, of North passed away on March 18, 2026.

He is survived by his son, Brett Bennett (Madalyn), and his daughter, Kelsey Bennett White (Peter), as well as his uncle, Jerry K. Livingston Jr. and cousins, Ashley Snellings (Joshua) and John Livingston (Adrianna).

Travis, known to many as “Hammer,” was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed being outdoors. He was known for his easy-going personality, his ability to strike up a conversation with anyone, and the many stories he shared along the way. In his younger days, he loved shark fishing off Edisto Beach, spending the day on the water at Lake Murray or Santee, or sitting in the woods waiting on a big buck. As he got older, he often spent time enjoying nature at the river, where he felt most at peace. He will be remembered for his love of nature, his free spirit, and the lasting impression he made on those who knew and loved him.

A graveside service will be held to celebrate his life at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 18th at Riverside Cemetery in North.
