Vance Chavis, Jr.

Vance Chavis, Jr., 64, of Neeses, S. C. passed away on Thursday, May 5. 2022.

A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Toy officiating.

Mr. Chavis was born in North, S. C., a son of the late Vance Chavis, Sr. and the late Virginia Lou McMichael Chavis.

Survivors include a special friend, Barbara Hutto; children, Cindy (Jeremy) Gunthers, Angie Louise Ferguson, Richard Lee Ferguson and Vickie Lynn Ferguson; sisters, Sandra Sturkie, Pamela Hoover, Carolyn Chavis and Cheryl Black; brothers, Ricky V. Chavis and Danny Ray Chavis; 13 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Chavis was predeceased by Anna Marie Ferguson, mother of his children.

Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home of North is assisting the family.
