William L. Day, 72, of Swansea, died Saturday, April 12, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home Chapel in North.Burial will be in Southland Memorial Gardens in West Columbia. Mr. Day was born in Swansea, a son of the late Woodrow Wilson and Onieta Smith Day.He was married to the late Irene Jeffcoat Day. Survivors include his son, Wilson Ray Day; two brothers, Talmadge Day and Manuel Day; one sister, Dianne Green; and a number of nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by a son, William L. Day, Jr; and two brothers, Richard Day and James Day. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North.
