Willie "Bill" Wilkes Hoffman

Willie “Bill” Wilkes Hoffman, Jr, of Swansea, SC died Saturday, July 11, 2015. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM, Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Swansea First Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Wilder officiating. Mr. Hoffman was born in Orangeburg County, a son of the late Willie Wilkes Hoffman, Sr. and Annie Mae Axson Hoffman.He was a member of the Swansea First Baptist Church and served in the U. S. Navy.He was a retired residential carpenter who loved spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife Joye Fogle Hoffman; daughter, Melodie (Thomas) Sharpe; son, Christopher D. Hoffman, Donna; five grandsons; sister, Janice (Bob) Hoover and a number of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Swansea First Baptist Church Choir Fund, P. O. Box 550, Swansea, SC 29160.
