Zackie Lionel “Zack” Sturkie, Jr. 56, of North, died Sunday, September 15, 2013. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North with Rev. Arthur Sharpe officiating. Mr. Sturkie was born in Columbia, a son of the late Lionel and Pauline Sharpe Sturkie.Mr. Sturkie was a small engine mechanic. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Faye Sturkie; sisters, Jan (Frank) Sharpe and Brenda (Clayton) Rawl; Brother, James (Martha) Sturkie and a number of nephews and nieces, including Nikki Sturkie. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to PACES, 819 Norris Street, Pelion, SC 29123.
